Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it lands.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

This is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the detail that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into your assessment.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.

Everything in one place, with the full fee table, withdrawal policies, website and regulatory details, is at Trade The Day.
